A21 crash: Four injured in crash between ambulance and cement lorry

Kent Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious road accident on the A21 at Tonbridge involving an ambulance and a cement lorry.

Police were called to the scene at 8.16pm on Wednesday (January 5).

Four people were injured in the accident, including two who were seriously hurt. The air ambulance attended, police added.

Serious Collision Investigation Unit officers are examining the scene of the incident.

In an update at 1.30am, Kent Police warned the road would be closed southbound for the “foreseeable future”, adding motorists should check the route before travelling.
