More than 900 teachers, support staff, and leaders from across Kent School District (KSD) came together for our second annual Teaching and Learning in Kent (TALK) conference August 19 and 20. The conference featured keynote speakers focused on equity, closing opportunity gaps, collaboration, and supporting students during remote learning. It also offered a variety of breakout sessions, including a session led by current students and recent graduates sharing about their experiences in KSD.
Yaasss! Joined my #KSDTALK2020 session and first thing I saw was KSD alumni! It’s going to be a great session. 👏🏻 This is what student-centered work looks like. So good to see former students. #GoRoyals ❤️💙

As we prepare to begin the 2020-21 school year with remote learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this professional development opportunity was a positive way for educators from across the district to connect and share their ideas.
KSD Proud! Our staff and guests are asking great questions, sharing practice, and learning with their colleagues! #KSDTALK2020 @KSDTeachLearn @KentSchools415
