Congratulations Kent-Meridian High School Senior Raihanna Sahak! Raihanna has been named a prestigious Dell Scholar and will receive $20,000 in addition to other stipends and a new laptop.  

Raihanna plans to attend the University of Washington in Seattle this fall.  

“I am excited about my future,” she said. “I am so appreciative and grateful for this scholarship. This scholarship means the world to me and it will help me focus on my schoolwork at UW.” 

Kent-Meridian’s Upward Bound Advisor Avi Barnes, said, “I can’t think of a more hardworking and determined young person to receive this honor.”
