Live Operation Brock, M20, A2, A20 and M25 Dartford Crossing traffic updates for Kent

Good morning and welcome to KentLive’s traffic and travel blog for Friday, April 22, where we will be providing live updates from across the county, including information on the ongoing chaos caused by Operation Brock.

The Operation Brock contraflow system is designed to keep traffic on the M20 and other roads in Kent moving when there is disruption to travel across the English Channel. However, it has caused major disruption in recent weeks.

National Highways says the system will be in place until at least after the May Bank Holiday (May 2, 2022). Those travelling in, to, or through Kent are reminded to check before they travel and to allow more time for their journeys.
