One lane has been closed on the M25 after an accident just past Clacket Lane Services.

Updates from National Highways show a road traffic incident occurred early on Monday (January 10), leading to one of four lanes being shut.

The closure is in place between junctions 5 and 6 heading in a clockwise direction, with traffic not expected to clear until past 8am.

Travel news service INRIX says: “One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M25 clockwise after Clacket Lane Services.

“Lane one (of four) is closed between J5 and J6.”

Police and ambulances have been contacted for updates.
