Man in 40s left ‘seriously injured’ after being hit by vehicle on A2 near Dartford

A man in his 40s has been left “seriously injured” after being hit by a vehicle on the A2 near Dartford. Kent Police reports that the pedestrian was struck on the coastbound carriageway last night.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, close to the junction for Old Bexley Lane, at around 10pm on Friday, March 25. The man was reportedly taken to a hospital in London where he remains in a “serious condition”.

The incident has seen Kent Police spark an investigation. Officers are now urgently appealing to any witnesses who saw the man walking near to the location, prior to the incident, to come forward.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man walking near to the location, prior to the incident.
