Search for drivers near Wrotham after cyclist dies in A20 crash

Kent Police is renewing its appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision in Wrotham last month.

Officers are especially keen to speak to anyone who was travelling up Wrotham Hill when the incident happened.

It took place on the A20 London Road between Old Coach Road and Gravesend Road at 3.30pm on Saturday February 26.

A grey Peugeot 208 was travelling in the direction of Sevenoaks when it was involved in a collision with a bicycle.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service but the rider of the bicycle, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit believe there are still people who may have witnessed this incident who are yet to come forward.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist them.
