Students from Mill Creek Middle School’s book club, #ProjectLit Bulldogs, had the opportunity to meet author Jason Reynolds at Lincoln High School in Tacoma.

The event, organized by Lincoln’s librarian Kristen Sierra, brought together school book clubs from throughout the Puget Sound region.

Reynolds, the author of thirteen books, spoke about how he hopes students of color feel represented in his work. The event was followed by a meet and greet with the author.
