Fire breaks out near Folkestone after what was believed to be an explosion

An eyewitness has reported a fire in Kent after what was believed to be an explosion.

The eyewitness said the incident occurred in Horn Street, between Folkestone and Hythe.

From what they could see, the fire has broken out at an old trout farm outbuilding.

The eyewitness said firefighters arrived at around 5.30pm and crews have now put the fire out, however they were still in attendance as of around 6pm.

Footage taken at the scene shows firefighters tackling the blaze.
