Good morning, and welcome to today’s live traffic and travel updates. Lorries remain on the M20 queuing for a space on a cross-Channel ferry as P&O’s vessels are still out of action.

The company’s Dover to Calais route has been suspended for more than a fortnight as its ships undergo safety inspections. This has caused authorities to implement Operation Brock to stop HGVs clogging up communities.

Traffic was temporarily worse when DFDS seaways admitted it had no space to hold P&O customers on its ships – but this has now ceased and the firm has resumed P&O bookings.
