Traffic was stopped on the M26 following a multi-vehicle crash this morning (July 11). The crash happened on the westbound side of the road between junction 2A and the M25/A21.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, queues are stretching for five miles on the M26, and there is a travel time of around 20 minutes. Inrix said: “Queueing traffic for five miles due to accident, four vehicles involved on M26 Westbound before M25 Interchange. Travel time is around 20 minutes.”
In a Tweet, National Highways said: “Traffic is currently stopped on the #M26 westbound between J2A and the #M25 /A21 in #Kent due to a multi-vehicle collision. Kent Police and Traffic Officers are in attendance. More information to follow shortly.”
