Police seized a motorbike after a rider with a provisional licence sped past them.
The rider went to overtake a car in a 30 miles per hour speed limit area at 52 – in front of officers who were conducting speed checks.
Once pulled over, it emerged that the rider only held a provisional licence and had never completed their compulsory basic training.
Kent Police Roads Policing Unit said on Twitter shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve: “Rider of this bike decided to overtake another car in a 30 mph limit at 52 right in front of #RSU officers conducting speed checks.
“Not only that, the rider was a provisional licence holder who had never completed his CBT. Rider reported and bike seized.”
