Renton Police find three dead in home, cause of death unknown

On the morning of Saturday, Dec. 11, Renton police responded to the 300 block of Factory Avenue North after the owner of the property entered to inspect the rental and found two unresponsive people in the living room.

Upon arriving, officers confirmed that the two were deceased and also found a third deceased body on the second floor of the home.

After searching the residence, detectives and agents from the King County Medical Examiner’s Office were reportedly unable to determine the cause and manner of death.

A press release from the police department said that a post-mortem examination conducted on Dec. 13 did not uncover any “obvious” manner of death.

According to the statement, it will take further laboratory and scientific tests to determine the cause of death. The process is expected to take multiple weeks.
