Thanet: Person treated by paramedics after house fire in Ramsgate

Four fire engines rushed to the scene of a fire at a house in Ramsgate yesterday (July 12). Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene in Syndale Place at 7.14pm.

As well as the four fire engines, a height vehicle was also used by crews. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, a high-pressure hose real jet and a main hose jet to help tackle the flames.

One person is reported to have been passed into the care of paramedics. They are said to have suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation.
