Principal Radford grew up in the Kent community and has worked in Kent School District for the past twenty years, as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal.

“I love being a high school principal because of the opportunities it provides to positively influence students, families, our staff, and the community,” he said.

As the principal of one of the most diverse schools in our state, Mr. Radford is committed to making sure every student at Kent-Meridian feels like they belong and knows their unique story and circumstances are what make their journey so incredible.

“One of the best moments for me as a principal is standing on the stage at graduation and shaking the hand of every graduating student,” he explained. “All students have a special story on their journey to graduation and I’m thankful that I was able to be a small or big part of that journey.”
