America’s Safe Schools Week

Student safety has always and will always be a top priority at Kent School District. We acknowledge our Safety Services and DARTS Team (IT) for their continued efforts in making sure students have a safe learning environment in both a physical and virtual world.

In efforts to maintain a safe learning environment, our principals reinforce the concept of “see something, say something” to students, teachers, and staff members. “We encourage students to speak to a school counselor or safety officer if they feel they, or a fellow student, may need assistance or support. By working together, we will keep our schools safe,” said Tim Kovich, Safety Services Assistant Director

America’s Safe Schools Week is October 18-24, and it is with much appreciation that we recognize those who work to keep our schools safe.

Welcome New Safety Officers

Kent School District welcomes two new safety officers this year. We asked the two officers a few questions to get to know them better. If you see them around the district, be sure to say welcome.
