The week of activities aimed to help students understand the importance of physical and mental health in their education. Throughout this week, there was a series of challenges to support staff and student wellness, for example, on Water Wednesday, we drank 69,400 oz of water as a district! Participants could also complete a daily survey for the chance to win fun prizes like fitness trackers and classroom activities.

“Many of us are struggling to embed wellness into our everyday routines during remote learning,” Assistant Director of Student and Family Support Services Cheri Simpson said. “Wellness Week offered challenges to remind us of the things that give us energy and positivity. Our other goal of Wellness Week was to help people feel connected to their schools and the district.”

Thank you to everyone who participated in KSD wellness week, our lucky student and staff winners have been notified.
