Driver of stolen car stopped in Kent was disqualified and over drug-drive limit

The driver of a car stopped within an hour of it being stolen has been arrested on suspicion of a host of motoring offences including being over the drug-drive limit.

Kent Police’s roads unit tweeted at 2.13am today (Tuesday) that the vehicle had been stopped by police based in Gravesend.

It said: @ #RPU1 attended @KentPoliceGrav located & stopped this stolen vehicle, within an hour of it being reported! The driver was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, disqualified driving, driving with no insurance & driving whilst over the drug drive limit.”
